De Rector Magnificus van Tilburg University nodigt u uit tot het bijwonen van de academische zitting waarin
prof. dr. Willem Marie Speelman
Hoogleraar Franciscaanse Spiritualiteit, Theologie en Geschiedenis, zijn ambt zal aanvaarden met het houden van een openbare rede, getiteld
Sporen van het Mysterie: het licht van franciscaanse verhalen op actuele kwesties
op vrijdag 9 september 2022 om 16.15 uur precies, in de Aula van Tilburg University, Warandelaan 2, 5037 AB Tilburg. U kunt de rede desgewenst ook online volgen via een livestream: Live uitzending Aula | Tilburg University.
De rede zal worden uitgesproken in het Nederlands.
Na afloop is er gelegenheid tot feliciteren in de foyer voor de aula.
Wij verzoeken u vriendelijk om via onderstaande link uw aanwezigheid bij de rede aan te geven.
REGISTREREN (vóór 2 september 2022)
Hoogleraren zijn van harte welkom om (bij voorkeur in eigen toga) in het cortège mee te lopen. Zij worden om uiterlijk 16.00 uur verwacht in toga in de Portrettenzaal.
Deze leerstoel wordt mogelijk gemaakt door het Franciscaans Studiecentrum.
Ik zie ernaar uit om na afloop van de rede samen het glas te heffen!

Willem Marie Speelman
Professor for Franciscan Spirituality, Theology and History, will deliver his inaugural address, entitled
Traces of the Mystery: the Light of Franciscan Stories on Contemporary Issues
on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 4:15 pm precisely, in the Auditorium of Tilburg University, Warandelaan 2, 5037 AB Tilburg, The Netherlands. If desirable, it is also possible to attend the lecture online via a livestream: Live broadcast Auditorium | Tilburg University.
The lecture will be in Dutch.
After the inaugural address, there will be an opportunity to congratulate in the foyer in front of the Auditorium.

Professors are most welcome to join the cortège (preferably bringing their own gowns). They are requested to be present with gown in the Portraits room at the latest at 4:00 pm.
