The symposium marked a wonderful start to the project. The presence of participants from various academic disciplines and a range of public and private parties illustrated the widespread support for this topic. During the panel discussions, it was abundantly clear how crucial it is to involve various stakeholders in the research from an early stage, which proves essential for the acceptance of interventions.

Climate and Energy
ENPOWER project receives funding from Horizon Twinning program
Currently in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 74% of the households are energy poor. At the same time, the country needs to decarbonize its economy. The ENPOWER project, in which Tilburg University is involved, will focus on addressing this problem by increasing capacity in the country by working on technical and social science knowledge and education at one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's core universities. The project is made possible through funding from the European Commission's Horizon Twinning program. Asel Doranova, who is part of the research community of the Academic Collaborative Center for Climate and Energy, is one of the researchers who will work on the project.
